Personal Bio

I have lived in Cincinnati my entire life on the city's East side. I grew up in Madisonville and attended Cure of Ars Catholic School, which was located at St. John Vianney Parish (technically Madison Place). Today, the buildings serve as Good Shepherd Montessori. I attended Purcell Marian HS, Xavier U (undergrad), and UC (grad school).   I taught for 31 years in public and private schools in the areas of special ed and religious education, so I was all in on the Cincinnati education scene.

I was involved in sports in grade school and high school, but my participation changed when I was looking for a side gig after starting my teaching career. I decided to officiate volleyball and basketball. That led to assigning officials for the Girls Greater Catholic League, which led to serving as commissioner of the GGCL, a position I still hold today.

My family and I are all fans of our professional and college sports teams. We love the arts and attend many performances by the symphony, musical companies, and plays. Special shout out to our smaller performance companies such as Mariemont Players (Walton Creek Theatre), the Incline Theater, and of course CCM. You don't have to pay big money to see great shows in Cincinnati!

Beyond real estate, I’m deeply invested in our local communities. I’ve always been drawn to the history of our riverfront—the steamboats, the inclines, the evolution of our neighborhoods. I live in Madisonville and serve as Communication Chair for the Community Council. I believe our city has a story worth celebrating—and I’d be happy to share a few hidden gems if you’re looking to explore.
